UPDATED 25 May Marketing Manager: Individual
needed as a grass roots marketer who excels in public relations
and marketing outreach. The individual should have 2-3 years
of experience in the field; must be detail-oriented, a self
starter, and demonstrate strong skills in project management
and problem solving; and have excellent verbal and written
communication skills as well as interpersonal abilities.
An individual with online and consumer marketing experience
would work well in this position. Previous work with Adobe
Creative Suite or similar programs is a plus.
Responsibilities include: implementing
advertising initiatives including email mailings, as well as print, radio, and
internet advertising; working with the
Events Coordinator to aid in the selection
of target markets for seminars; placing
marketing outreach calls to government
agencies; researching tradeshows and contacting
representatives to place speaking engagements;
printing and gathering collateral for all
speaking engagements/tradeshows; managing
advertising, or brochure fulfillment
as needed; researching and writing a quarterly
newsletter; monitoring search engine ad
words campaigns for improvements; creating
and implementing promotional marketing
campaigns; researching, analyzing, and
adjusting current marketing processes in
order to increase company efficiency; monitoring,
maintaining, and editing the Government
Contracts Resource Center website and bulletin
board; monitoring and updating all outsourced
e-commerce initiatives.
We would prefer someone with excellent
copywriting skills who can multitask and
has an appealing phone presence.
Government Contracting Intern: PT
internship available for student or recent graduate. Candidate
must have strong organizational and computing skills (Excel
is a must), great attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
This is a great opportunity for a business major looking
to jump into the world of government contracting and procurement.
Duties will be administrative and research based. Intern
will report directly to Director of Government Contracts.
Compensation and/or academic credit oversight may be available.
